Stella

The tour was super nice!! Stella is very sweet and interesting to talk to, she knows a lot about Hanoi and about plenty other subjects. She entirely personalized our tour based on what we already tried, on our hunger level and on our diet preferences (we don’t eat meat nor dairy), and made us discover some amazing traditional foods! The eel soup was amazing 😍 Highly recommend!!

Even after a month in Viet Nam and multiple food tours all around the country, Stella managed to make us discover dishes we had never heard of before! She asked us if we had tried a whole bunch of dishes and we tried the ones we didn’t know. We really appreciated that! Also, she told us about a lot of aspects of the Vietnamese food culture and more. She is the sweetest and we highly recommended you take a food tour with her! Thank you so much Stella :)

Stella was fantastic and this tour was THE BEST I've been on (done about 10 in the last year). The food was all really delicious but what made the experience so memorable was Stella's great company. She's really open, friendly and insightful about Vietnamese politics and culture. She's clearly very interested and that shows through in her engaging storytelling. She made us feel really comfortable, we asked lots of questions and she showed us how to eat each dish and all the does and don'ts of dinner time in Vietnam. In terms of the actual food stops, she offered us different options based on how full we were and tailored all the stops specifically for us and what she thought we'd enjoy (we're living in Ho Chi Minh City so she focused on foods unique to the North). This is 100% worth your time and we will be booking it for all our friends and family who come to visit. Also agree with the other reviewer who said it's like going out to dinner with a good friend 😊
