We booked the tour since it was the only one offering a timeslot we could manage. Youssef texted us in advance that he is not able to guide us but a deputy would be around. His Deputy was a couple of minutes late. The tour was overall under an hour and not very informative. The chosen photo spots were good, but the overall historical overview rather superficial. He took some nice photos of us and showed us a very nice blanket manufacturer and store. The whole experience was rather underwhelming compared to our previous experiences with other free walking tours.
This guy is the real thing. An educated worldly congenial Berber…bonus is he’s good looking, liberal, and politically-savvy. I learned much from him.
He gets 1 star so that I can review him. Should be no star. Waited 20 minutes for him and he never showed for the tour. Did not communicate with us after we messaged him. Use a different guide. Disappointed.
