Free Walking Tours through Old Havana

We had a great experience! Jorge was fun and had a lot of knowledge about the places visited and also of Cuban history. We loved it!

The tour was really special because you could tell that our guide Jorge was truly part of the community. As we walked through the streets of old Havana he would stop to greet and speak to other Habaneros, and he also brought us into a residential building to see what living conditions are like for everyday people. You could tell that Jorge respects and values his community. The route of the tour is quite simple (across the four main plazas of old Havana) however the true value of the tour was the conversations we had with Jorge who answered all of our questions on contemporary Cuban society and its challenges with detail and insight. The whole group was talking and exchanging ideas from the moment the tour began!

Jorge is a great tour guide, he walked us through the Cuban history and explained the current situation honestly. He answered all our questions with additional information and funny local memes. He is quite friendly we didn't realized how the time passed. I'd definitely recommend!

Jorge was particularly interesting with his insight to what it is like being a Cuban living in Cuba today. From a tourist point of view it was enlightening with regard to both historical and modern politics and how that has formed the Cuba of today. Jorge was an amazong guide. From my fair share of guru walks I did, this one was the most interesting. A looot of talks about cuban history and nowadays state. Really loved the geekish history telling from the indigineous people, to modern day Cuba. With good sides and bad sides, I feel that this man made me understand Cuba.

Great views and history of Cuba!

Jorge is really well educated Cuban tour guide. He explained the Cuba's situation in terms of politics, economic and cultural. He mentioned all local details. Besides, he suggested many good restaurants, cocktail bars and breakfast places. You should attend his tour before leaving Havana.

Tour was great!

Jorge is very knowledgeable and informative. We covered some touristy parts, but the tour covered mainly the current situation in Cuba. Jorge answered all of our questions and we learned a lot during these 2.5 hours. Fully recommend!

Had a great Walking session with Jorge, who is knowledgeable about places and share stories to make it interesting. The tour was nice but talk in advance with Jorge where he will bring you- he brought us to people who live in Old Havana to ask them question although obviously we didn't want to ask them and then begged money from us..

The best time spent in Havana. Learnt about history, politics and Cuban life. Fantastic guide and would recommend to anyone as a great foundation for a time spent in Havana
