We had a great time with the group and Du! Du is lovely and has a great sense of humor. It was a great mixture of historic facts about the imperial city and entertainment. Thank you for the tour!!

Du was a super great guide and graciously answered any and all questions! Only note is that I found the overall historical timeline of the imperial city a bit hard to follow throughout the tour.

This was a very fun experience, which I highly recommend. I love seeing different parts of the city and the stops that were chosen were not ones I would’ve visited on my own and very interesting. The guide, Huy, provided good background and history. I learned a great deal about the history of this beautiful and sometimes underrated city. A wonderful afternoon, even if it was rainy! This is the day I will remember!

This was a fantastic tour to a genuinely beautiful place. It was a rainy day, but somehow it only added to the magic, the colours were so beautiful. It’s the kind of place you could return to with every visit. Huy was a fantastic guide, entertaining, and with very interesting and personal stories that I will remember. I learned a lot, and I enjoyed every minute of it.

The tour was amazing! Ruby took us to eat to very local places, everything was delicious! I highly recommended!

I’m soooo glad I booked this! Bem chose a really cool cafe for us to have the lesson (I took some friends here the next day and they complimented the good find!). I was also the only one so I had a private class. She was super friendly and patient with me and taught me some great phrases and words that could be chopped and changed to build different sentences. After an hour or so of learning vocabulary she helped me practise with different scenarios. We then chatted for a further hour just as two friends getting to know eachother. 100% recommend! Even though the weather was rainy, the trip was fantastic. Our guide was very knowledgeable and generous with his explanations. It was really fun scooting all over the city. I would very much recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic time learning Vietnamese with Bem! We already had a few basic phrases, but she was great at meeting us where we were at and gave us many more useful phrases along with pronunciation and cultural tips. Highly recommend!!

I loved doing something different from the typical free walking tour. It was great that we got to see much more of the city than we would have just exploring on foot. The guides were extremely welcoming and answered our questions about Vietnam or anything beyond the tour itself. 😊

I always enjoy walking tours in different places offered by locals as they give a deep insight into the culture of the places as well. And this one was one of the best I’ve attended so far . Huy, our guide, is a knowledgeable, fun, professional, kind and patient . We started the tour exactly on time (Thanks to all the participants who arrived on time). Huy took us to various spots in the tours and told us the history behind everything that exists there in the Imperial City . He answered all the questions asked and made the tour so much fun . Unfortunately, I received a call from my bus operator that I’d booked that they’re scheduling my pickup 45 minutes early . This meant I had to leave the tour early . But Huy managed the time for me . He even escorted me to the exit gate and guided me where I can get a Grab bike to reach to my pick up point on time . As I was travelling solo , he helped me by taking pictures . All in All , amazing experience. I highly recommend it .

It was a really cool experience. Our guide Du was funny, friendly and professional aswell! She kept the visit very clear and made sure we could understand the depth of vietnam's history by interacting with us all the time. And all of that despite the rain!

We had a wonderful tour, and really enjoyed listening to Du. For improvement the explanations could have been more coherent, maybe starting from early history and moving on from there. Overall a great experience

We loved our tour of the Imperial City. We learned a lot more than we expected. Our guide, Huy, was knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor and had a communication style that was easy to follow and really gave the facts he was sharing some life. The pace was perfect, a nice balance of listening to Huy and exploring the sites on our own. Huy was great about answering ALL our questions. Highly recommend this tour.

An informative but relaxed tour of the Imperial city. Huy had a great sense of humour and a genuine love for Hue.

Really great information that only a local could give us! We saw lots of the citadel and the guide was very entertaining. We learned a lot!

Linh was a fantastic guide. We have done a few tours with guruwalk but Linh is the best guide we've had so far by a mile. He's super informative, very charismatic and very friendly. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting a guide for the imperial city :)

La visita è stata molto interessante e ben strutturata. La guida Du ha parlato un ottimo inglese e la qualità e la quantità della informazioni fornite è stata notevole. Purtroppo ha piovuto per metà della visita ma questo non ha compromesso la bellezza del sito, soprattutto per quello che rappresenta a livello culturale e storico. Consigliato

My mother and I really enjoyed our walking tour with Vy. She was truly interesting, knowledgeable, kind and open to questions. The information she gave us were gripping and allowed us to better understand some parts of Vietnam's culture and history. We highly recommend this tour!
