Free walking tours in Jaisalmer

Sebastian is a friendly and knowledge guy having grown up in the area. Love the little bits of info from when he was a kid. He is very patient to allow you to take as many photos as you like. We were able to share some in jokes through the tour which was awesome. Only suggestion would be to have some food stops on the way as that breaks up the listening, you know it's safe to eat and you're not getting ripped off. Shukriya bhai! You'll always be on top of my Jaisalmer friend list!

The tour with Sameer was very good! We walked through the old town where we admired the beautiful architecture of some of the most famous havelis in Jaisalmer, while Sameer told us about the history and traditions of the city. We visited the Kothari's Patwon Ki Haveli museum, which was very cool. Before returning to the fort we visited a silversmith's house and shop and learned how they work the silver for jewelry. Sameer shared a lot of good information throughout the tour and answered all of our questions. The pace was nice and we learned a lot. Highly recommended!

What I really loved about the tour with Sebastian was that he grew up in Jaisalmar and knows every corner. He provides information regarding how it used to be like living in Jaisalmer and how it is now. Of course he also knows all the history. It was fun going around with him on the motorbike, I fell like I really got to know the place

The tour with Sameer was great, he gave us a lot of details on the historical background and on the architecture of the buildings of Jaisalmere. He also explained us some curiosities about the Indian culture and he showed us some not touristic places, including some artisans.

Excellent free walking tour of Jaisalmer Fort from Subhash, who has lived there all his life. Subhash is full of enthusiasm and knowledge, sharing insights and stories no regular guide would know. His kindness and sense of humour make this a great fun thing to do. Highly recommended.

Before starting the walk he asked us which places we are interested in and designed the walk accordingly. We definitely enjoyed our time. Subhash is born and raised in the city and loves this place from the bottom of his heart. And you can really feel that. Beside the guided tour we had some very good and deep conversations which made us understand the place, the culture and the religion a lot better. We really saw this place a little bit through his eyes. ❤️

Our man Is a very good and prepared guide and such a kind one! He took us to such wonderful spot and he also offered us some very nice street food from jaisalmer I Highly recommend to take a tour with him!

Sameer gave a brilliant tour of the fort, the Jain temples, and the old city including the Havellis. He was really interesting, very personal and friendly, and his English was extremely good. It was a great way to see Jaisalmer and hear about the history and local culture. He is very knowledgeable about religions, having studied them, which was interesting to hear about. The tour is quite long (up to 4 hours) but it was worth it.

Sameer was the best guide we have had in India. Sameer was very knowledgeable about the city and showed us some of the most local spots in the city. The tour really made us appreciate everything about Jaisalmer and I would highly recommend Sameer to be your guide. He’s also had good banter which is always a bonus.

Sameer is an absolute legend and you should 100% do this tour if you're in Jaisalmer! Took us seamlessly through all the key sites, but more importantly he also takes you to bits in the old town you may not think of seeing. We both felt we'd really seen and could understood Jaisalmer after this tour. Really passionate, kind, intelligent, with impeccable English, and great dress sense! One of the best tours I have ever been on across the globe. And I have been on a lot. Thanks Sameer, you were brilliant! Shout out for doing it all in 38 degree heat, whilst fasting.

Even though I was the only participant, he still conducted the tour, which is quite rare and very much appreciated. He not only covered the main attractions of Jaisalmer Fort but also its alleys, sharing fascinating details along the way. Additionally, we explored Kothari Haveli. He took my questions thoroughly and made the experience engaging.

Very nice tour, Sameer show us some nice gems of the city and give us context with great explanation. The started with a delay, so we couldn’t see everything with natural light, but we would still recommend him!

Mr Sharma is a native of Jaisalmer and along the walk, he interacted with many people on the street. He was greeted warmly and respectfully. He was extremely knowledgable about the city and its history. I would recommend him as your guide.
