Thabo was friendly, thoughtful, interesting, and very knowledgeable. He communicated with us via Whatsapp before the tour and was very responsive. The tour started at June 16 Memorial Acre which was the start of the Soweto student protest, and should be on everybody's list of places to start your visit in Soweto. Thabo took us on a local bus and taught us the hand signals that the locals used for this mode of public transportation. We ate at a local eatery featuring huge sandwiches called "kota" -- delicious and cheap. We highly recommend this tour and this tour guide!!

Thabo did a very good experience for us even nowadays that they say that is dangerous visiting Johburg. He taught us how to get a public taxi and the basis words in Zulu.

La visita con Thabo fue genial. Estuvimos solos con él y desde el primer momento nos hizo sentir muy cómodos. Nos explicó la historia de Soweto y el apartheid de una forma muy cercana e interesante y además nos ayudó muchísimo con toda la logística para llegar hasta allí. Fue muy atento, amable y profesional. ¡Sin duda recomendamos hacer la visita con él!

Tour muy recomendable que permite conocer una parte de la ciudad y de su historia, visitando puntos claves, que si no se hiciera acompañados de un guia de la zona, no seria tan interesante.

The tour includes a visit to Nelson Mandela’s house and finishes at the iconic Soweto Towers, making it a very complete experience. You can really tell that Thabo loves sharing the history and culture of his community.
