Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima giornata alla scoperta di Kandy grazie a questa fantastica guida locale! È stato con noi per tutta la giornata, accompagnandoci alla scoperta della città in modo autentico e coinvolgente. Ci siamo spostati con il suo tuk-tuk personale, guidato direttamente da lui, e questo ci ha permesso di visitare molte più attrazioni di quelle che avremmo potuto vedere a piedi. Ci ha anche prenotato dei posti in prima fila per assistere allo spettacolo di danza! È molto preparato sulla cultura e sulle tradizioni locali e riesce a raccontare e spiegare tutto in modo interessante e mai noioso. Inoltre, ci ha dato preziosi consigli per vivere Kandy al meglio ed evitare piccoli inconvenienti. Consigliamo assolutamente questa esperienza a chiunque voglia scoprire Kandy in modo autentico e approfondito. Grazie per aver reso la nostra giornata così speciale!

Kandy with Rasika An absolute pleasure paying and inviting him dinner as a tip. He showed me and explained so well the history of Buddha at the Temples, explained me how and what to say to avoid being scammed, sad but true! His food recommendations tasty and affordable. The ayurvedic masssage stop wow! I really needed it! The performance, traditional dances were the perfect cherry on the cake! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo fatto un tour di Kandy con Rasika e non potevamo fare scelta migliore! Essendo solo noi due, si è dimostrato fin da subito super disponibile, adattando il tour alle nostre esigenze e creando un itinerario su misura. Abbiamo visitato tutte le attrazioni più importanti di Kandy, accompagnati da lui dall’inizio alla fine. Durante la giornata ci ha raccontato tantissime curiosità e chicche interessanti, rispondendo sempre con pazienza e entusiasmo a tutte le nostre domande. È stato con noi dalle 9 fino a metà pomeriggio, sempre sorridente, disponibile e attento a farci vivere al meglio l’esperienza. 😊 Un tour davvero piacevole e ben organizzato, che consiglio assolutamente a chiunque voglia scoprire Kandy con una guida attenta, preparata e disponibile! 😉🥰🫰🏻❤️

Overall the tour was one of the highlights of my trip and I really enjoyed how interested and knowledgable my guide was. I was able to select every destination and even adjust it spontaneously, as I was the only person on the tour. He also seemed very interested in me and my culture which created a very nice dynamic. He also took me to a local food court and helped me negotiate at the markets which I appreciated a lot. However I would have loved to get some more insights on some of the sights, especially the budhist history, but I'm not quite sure how much detail you can realistically expect from a Tourist tour, as I was already quite knowledgeable before the tour. I was afraid that the tour would break my rather tight budget, but after talking via WhatsApp I ended up paying a very resonable price even though it was more then the average tour in Sri Lanka.

This tour is highly recommended. It shows the non touristic part of Kandy. Ravana even got his car because it was raining. We got to know things about his school and also history about Kandy. It was a good evening with nice talks and discussion about the history of Sri Lanka.

Our walking tour with Ravi was great. Ravi was extremely knowledgeable on the history of Sri Lanka, Kandy and was happy to answer any of our questions. Ravi was warm, extremely friendly and made the tour intriguing. On the day of the tour, it was raining all day in Kandy, however Ravi was great at communicating, and informing us of the plan and of other options if we were rained out.

Communication, information, professionalism Rasika was great from the moment the tour was booked! Our accommodation was far from Kandy and he provided door to door service. Insightful information and a snack of fruit and water during a long day of tours and sight seeing was much appreciated. If you want a more personal interaction with a small group, this is your guy!

We booked the tour the day before. The organiser messaged me straight away to ask what I would like to see. He then customised as a tuk tuk route to our desires. There were four of us on the trip. We got a tuk tuk between two of us and a guides each. The guides were Athula and Gayan. Both spoke fantastic English and were very knowledgeable. They were both locals of Kandy and were clearly very passionate about the city. They provided brilliant insights and information about the city and its blended culture. I would definitely recommend this tour

We had a very nice tour with Ravika today who after we booked contacted us to propose a tuk tuk tour instead. This made the tour much easier and we were able to visit several interesting sites including an Ayurveda herb garden and clinic. Ravika contacted us in advance with the proposed itinerary which we could amend as per our wishes and time available. We really appreciated his flexibility. Thank you Ravika

Botanical Garden and the Buddhist temple of Getambe

Ravi was a great guide. The forest he took us too was magical, cool and calm after being in the busy city. Ravi gave us lots of info on the trees and wildlife in the forest together with the history of Sri Lanka. The view point looking down on the city is fab. Afterwards we visited the beautiful school chapel with amazing frescos. Such a calm place. We would highly recommend this tour. Many thanks

Ravi was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide and gave us information about the flora and fauna of Sri Lanka, plus some of its history as we walked through the Royal Park overlooking Kandy. The Anglican Church with its unique murals were a real highlight and something very special for our group to experience.
