Free walking tours in Negombo

Anton did the tour even when I was the only one. If possible he tried to give me the informations in the shadow and stay out of the heat. Additionally to the normal information in the tour, he gave me some good travel tips and answered all my questions about the country

Antion was our guide for this walking tour. He was amazing. He took his time, explained alot about the history, the food, the culture of Sti Lanka. He enjoyed sharing information from the questions we asked. He was very knowlegable. He got us to try some small friut, we had coconut water and he explained about alot if the foods in the market. We did not feel rushed at all and he ensured we rested if needed. Overall We would highly recommend Anton for any walking tour

I had the most amazing time exploring Negombo with Anton! He was very informative about the history of Sri Lanka as well as Negombo. It was my first day in SL and he made me feel so comfortable and at ease as a solo female traveller. Would recommend! Brilliant!

An interesting walk to and around the Bhuddist Temple, Cathedral, & Fish Market Anton was very knowledgeable and happily answered questions from the group, gave advice on purchasing spices and other useful tips for visiting Sri Lanka

Very good walking tour with Anton today. Met on time, at location shared. Knowledgeable & Friendly & looked after my well being and safety while walking in busy roads. Visited points of interest and sampled fruits at the local market. Coconut very refreshing on a hot day!

Great tour. Premil waited for us as we were running late and took us to a number of different spots. Born and bred locally, Premil knew the history and stories. He also organized a boat trip on they lagoon for us at short notice.

Did the tour with Anton. Really liked it. He showed me around at the dry & wet fish market. Explained a lot of information. We also went to the fort and the English and Catholic Church. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great walk. We learnt about the fishermen of Negombo and the background history of the city .we met some of the locals 5 🌟

Thanks Shashi for taking us on a belated tour after we missed the start in the morning. The tour was informative and varied, giving us a good sense of Negombo and getting to see its key industry (fishing) up close and personal, which was very unique (for us at least). Shashi also provided his knowledge as local of both Negombo and Sri Lanka as a whole. With a couple of well timed tuk tuk rides he managed to fit a lot in little over 90 mins, taking us to most of the town's main sites. Cheers Shashi it capped off of our last day of an excellent adventure in Sri Lanka!
