A very entertaining and interesting tour. We would have just liked it to be a bit longer - the 1.5 hours flew past!

Madawa is super insightful, and clearly an expert on all things Galle and Sri Lanka. No question went unanswered, and it was great to stroll through the fort at a relaxed pace.

Madawa was fabulous guide - his knowledge on Galle was excellent. We found him very interesting to listen to and he gave us good insight into the history and changes over the centuries in Galle . An early morning walk around the fort with Madawa was a great start to our stay in this fascinating part of Sri Lanka!

Great tour- very informative

Informative and interesting tour

Madawa is an excellent tour guide, speaks great English and has prepared a really interesting tour route around the Galle Old Fort area! Along the way you'll learn a lot about Sri Lanka's history, politics, economics, trade, tourism, shipping, elephants swimming 4km out to sea that had to be (safely) rescued along with the devastating 2004 tsunami which inflicted so much damage on the country. I'd highly recommend doing this tour with Madawa as you see and learn about so many interesting places and things. The three other people in my family who did the tour all really enjoyed it too! 12/10!

Madaw ran a great informative tour which kept up a lively commentary while we viewed the key sites, answered a wide range about not only Galle but on Sri Lanka generally

Very knowledgeable guide, gave lots of interesting information and invited questions. He was very patient when we were a few minutes late and called to make sure we knew our way to the meeting point. A great experience!
