Awesome is the word for him. A suave guide, knowledgeable who has got his math right. Would certainly recommend every visitor to avail his services. Since I was the only tourist, really appreciate him going beyond the call of duty in the time taken to walk me through the town and explain the various facets of the Portuguese, Dutch, British and the shared Indian history.

We had a great walking tour with Madawa through Galle Fort. He shared a lot of insight into the colonial history, architecture and local culture, things we definitely wouldn’t have picked up on without a guide. His storytelling was engaging and informative and he made the tour feel personal and relaxed. Highly recommended if you want to truly understand the place beyond what you see on the surface.
