Shokhrukh was truly funny and knowledgable guide. You could ask him about history, culture, religion, and he always knew the answer. He made us feel very comfortable from the beginning of the tour, and he kept the perfect pace along the way. We received great recommendations in the end. Our stay in Khiva is definitely reacher now.

Shokhrukh is super sweet and passionate. He answers to any questions and asks a lot of questions as well to keep the tour interacting! We got a complete overview of Khiva and his personality made everything more interesting and pretty than it already is. Highly recommended!

Everything was semi ok, except: I happened to be the only one who signed up for the tour. At the end of the tour she demanded, yes demanded 30 USD for the tour. If no one else has signed up is not my fault and honestly, it is not of my liking either. If you think it is not cost effective, keep a minimum number of attendee for the tour but not demand.

I would say this is the best of the free walking tours I have been on. We ended up with only 2 of us in the group and we loved the way she explained things clearly and slowly. She is very knowledgeable and her English is amazing. We learned so much and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Khiva.

We had such a great tour with Shok in Khiva! Perfect way to explore the city, don’t skip out. He had great information and stories, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. He did a fantastic job and would love to do a tour with him again

Charos was so knowledgeable. We learnt a lot and got to enjoy all the sites without having to do the navigation.

Apart from the history about Khiva, he also introduced the current social situation and his personal experience which enrich my knowledge about this country! Highly recommended!

This was such a lovely experience . Sorry I forget the name of the master carver, but he was super nice and professional. He gave me 3 choices; easy, medium or hard Carving. Full on respect now for all the carving work I see for sale here as this is made by real professional craftsmen. The workshop was outside on a square with the most amazing view. 100% Recommend this to anyone coming to Khiva
