Ben was fantastic. He knew much more than the average tour guide as he lives right near the sites we visited. I would highly recommend this tour. It was stunningly beautiful. Ben also limited his group to a small amount that we could have a better feel for the true feeling and serenity of the gardens. He took many pictures for us and knew exactly where to go and what to do that made it look like we were all alone. He gave us recommendations as we went for what we could do after the tour including lunch and an even a spa flower foot bath! It was spectacular. He mapped out our day for a complete adventure. I give him an A plus! Loved this area!

We loved to see the landscapes and to hear poetic stories about these oniric places ! We were happy to know this part of Kyoto region. The guide was incredibly kind and welcoming. She took us to several temples in Kyoto and shared the full story of the city, which made the experience both informative and engaging. She also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and enjoyable activities around town. I found it especially inspiring that she had studied in Germany and, after joining a free walking tour there, decided to bring the same concept to her own city. That really showed her passion and empathy for travelers.
