Matthew was informative and he organized the tour great. He encouraged the group to ask questions and made sure he answered to his best knowledge. It's definitely better to learn about the city and it's history from a guide. Overall it was a nice tour and I fully recommend both Matthew and the tour itself. 😊 👍🏻

Louis was absolutely fantastic! The walking tour itself is well structured and Louis had interesting anecdotes and social commentary that really adds to the experience. I greatly enjoying chatting with him during the walk. Overall one of the top walking tours I have been on in Europe. He also gave me recommendations on whatsapp prior to the tour that greatly improved my experience during my entire stay at Marseilles.

Our tour around Marseille was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and he backed up his commentary with photos so we were able to understand better. He was fun and and gave us information on places to eat, other sites to see, opening hours snd how to get there. Essy is a great guide and this is an excellent way to start your trip to Marseille.

One of the best walking tours I’ve been on. Our guide was so informative and shared a lot about the history and the change that took place over the last 11 years! He was entertaining and it made the tour feel so short even though it ran past 2 hours! After the tour, he helped with directions and recommendations for food and things to do in Marseille. Highly recommend as he’s one of the best ones!
