Free Walking Tours through through Munich Third Reich

Prior to this I had never been on a guided/walking tour of a city, and had never planned to go on one. This tour was booked mostly based on my girlfriend's preferences. So it should be taken as extremely high praise that despite the awful weather on Monday, Jax's guided tour of Munich was one of my favourite parts of our entire trip. It was engaging, interesting, interactive and set us up amazingly for our time here with numerous amazing recommendations for what to do in the city. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Jaxx was a fantastic guide and it was a very enjoyable tour. Even with the weather he had the tour organised to stay under cover where he could. He was full of information about the city and its history and was happy to answer questions. Overall very pleased we found the tour and would happily recommend it. Loved the added bonus of a list of recommended places to go to he gave us at the end.

Excellent guide who gave us an overview of the main sites in the Old Town, plus some recommendations for food.

Great tour, our guide was so knowledgeable and had many fun facts. It was also nicely mapped out and helps you orient yourself in the city centre. Although it was a rainy day, our guide was clearly an expert, he knew all the best spots to stay dry and still explore the city! Highly recommend this tour.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a free walking tour, but I was pleasantly surprised. One of my biggest pet peeves of doing group tours is that the tour guide doesn’t speak loud enough for a large group of 20 for everyone to hear so I appreciated that Patrick made sure we all heard what he was saying at all times. Patrick was funny and entertaining, and kept us hanging on every word wanting to learn more. My husband and I would highly recommend this tour.

Heard about Guruwalk while dining in Salzburg. Decided to give it a try in Munich. It was a great walkinh tour and Patrick was a wonderful guide. The tour is free, but you are encouraged to give cash to the Guru. This type on tour on Viator or Tripadviser is around $30 each or $60 for two. You can save money by using this service and still have an excellent experience.

Brett was a delight! He was extremely knowledgeable, open to questions and answered them thoroughly. He had a great sense of humor and created a fun atmosphere! The tour gave us a comprehensive introduction to the heart of Munich. Brett gave an excellent restaurant recommendation – we followed the walking tour with lunch at the recommended restaurant. The tour was a great way to spend a beautiful sunny morning in Munich! Highly recommend!
