Free walking tours in Nuremberg

As the tour description included Third Reich history, yes, Alexandra did cover the history as a talk. But it would have been nice if a location had also been included on the tour. However, Alexandra did give a good grasp of the history.

Tom made it a point to be detailed and professional. Respected everybody's time and encouraged people to ask questions and explore. Knowledgeable. Tom consistently demonstrated a meticulous and professional approach and his expertise was evident. While valuing everyone's time he fostered an environment that encouraged inquiry and exploration.

Loved this tour. Have done a few of these and Alex was excellent - one of the best. She kept asking the group to guess reasons for certain things which kept everyone interested. Lovely clear style. Really enjoyed it.

Alexandra was excellent. She involved everyone in the group, made us guess how people lived in olden times and made the history come alive. Not to be missed!

It was very chilly but the guide still kept the attention of my kids . Tough to do in freezing weather . Would recommend to anyone . Combined interesting personal facts with historical ones to make for a very educational tour.

Very friendly, interesting and fun!

I enjoyed the tour very much with Victorio as our guide. Seeing the “before” photos in contrast to the views of the streets that we were walking on was very helpful in connecting history to present. Victorio was an impressive history teller.

Martin was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and entertaining! The 2+ hours of the tour flew by so quickly, leaving us with a wide variety of information ranging from history to everyday life in Nuremberg and tips about other tourist highlights. Our guide Martin is a very intelligent young man with a very delicate sense of humor and a very attentive and sensitive attitude to tourists. Highly recommend the Guru walk and Martin as a guide (haven't tried the other guides but this one will not disappoint anyone!)

We throughly enjoyed this walking tour covering the old town and a bit about the 3rd Reich. Andreas was entertaining as well as informative. I learned much about Nurenberg and its role in Germany. Having learnt a bit about the 3rd Reich we independently went to the Congress to see the exhibition there.

If you love history then this is the tour for you. Vittorio put the events and places in context and also gave us some excellent insights into Germany today. Highly recommended
