Shashi give me a great tour showing me around Negombo! He’s very knowledgeable, informative and entertaining about the city and Sri Lanka. His tour takes you around Hindi, temples, spice markets, the dry fish market, and the main fish market in the city. I highly recommend you do his tour when you reach Negombo! You’ll be very happy you did!

Here I will do a public comment. Guruwalk you need to be clearer with suppliers and clients. I booked several weeks ago. Today when I contacted via whatsapp " my guide", he had no idea about any bookings. It seems there was a major miscommunication between my booking and the guide. At the end he came and I was not left alone! BUT I was Not expecting starting my travel in Sri Lanka so confussed.

Anton did the tour even when I was the only one. If possible he tried to give me the informations in the shadow and stay out of the heat. Additionally to the normal information in the tour, he gave me some good travel tips and answered all my questions about the country

Antion was our guide for this walking tour. He was amazing. He took his time, explained alot about the history, the food, the culture of Sti Lanka. He enjoyed sharing information from the questions we asked. He was very knowlegable. He got us to try some small friut, we had coconut water and he explained about alot if the foods in the market. We did not feel rushed at all and he ensured we rested if needed. Overall We would highly recommend Anton for any walking tour

I had the most amazing time exploring Negombo with Anton! He was very informative about the history of Sri Lanka as well as Negombo. It was my first day in SL and he made me feel so comfortable and at ease as a solo female traveller. Would recommend! Brilliant!

Our guide Anton was excellent! :) He was very knowledgeable, very attentive and kind. Anton is really genuine and tries to give you as much info about the history but also everyday life in Negombo. We tried some local products as well. Honestly, we didn't expect much, but were very positively surprised about our experience and would easily recommend the tour to anyone who wants to see the city through locals eyes. :) Thank you Anton!

An interesting walk to and around the Bhuddist Temple, Cathedral, & Fish Market Anton was very knowledgeable and happily answered questions from the group, gave advice on purchasing spices and other useful tips for visiting Sri Lanka

Premil gave us a very interesting and informative tour around Negombo. We asked many questions which were answered well. He has a great insight into the town and was happy to adapt the tour if needed. He made sure we were safe from traffic and looked after. A great advert for why we always attend Guru walks. Very good walking tour with Anton today. Met on time, at location shared. Knowledgeable & Friendly & looked after my well being and safety while walking in busy roads. Visited points of interest and sampled fruits at the local market. Coconut very refreshing on a hot day!

Great tour. Premil waited for us as we were running late and took us to a number of different spots. Born and bred locally, Premil knew the history and stories. He also organized a boat trip on they lagoon for us at short notice.
