Free walking tours in Akihabara

Tiago was our tour guide for the Akihabara tour and he definitely knew his stuff.

Tiago was an excellent guide who perfectly guided us through all of the stores that our anime and k-pop obsessed teenagers were looking for. We would definitely recommend him to everyone!

Tiago was a great tour guide, not only we visited a lot of places in Akihabara, he told us the part of the story of the district. He was always upbeat and ready to answer any question! He even helped us looking for specific figures we wanted to buy! I can't reccoment the tour enough!

Very nice tour, lots of places to buy anime and manga stuff, I would recommend specially if you are into anime and want to buy something related while in Japan

I had no idea how big the merch and anime industry is in Japan! Tiago showed me everything! From futuristic arcades, to a store selling unlimited digital cameras, endless figurine shops from high end to low end. And I can tell he got a huge kick out of my shock every time he took me to another shop. He himself is a figurine collector so was able to answer so many questions about the industry. And he gave me some of the backstory about the Akihabara area plus food recommendations.

Tiago was the guide for my tour of Akihabara. He was extremely knowledgeable about all things anime and electronics. There lots of interesting facts and he catered the tour to my interests. Would diffinetly recommend!!!

Nos hizo un recorrido por el barrio que nos gustó mucho. Todo muy detallado y hacía un gran esfuerzo en que entendieras bien las cosas que veías, dando varios ejemplos. Respondió todas las preguntas que tuvimos y nos indicó sitios de gran interés.

On our last day in Tokyo we decided to learn more about “ anime “ and booked with Guru an afternoon at Akihabara.Tiago was willing to take us around with only the two of us! Very friendly, informative and his personal touch gave us a rich experience of this big business in Japan. We had a good experience with Tiago as he took us to places most relevant for our daughter’s interest in Anime Manga

Tiago was very friendly and helpful, he took me to different places in Akihabara depending on what I was interested in. It turned out to be a very customized toured. For someone that is not familiar with the anime culture it was nice to have someone showing me around. Would be also interesting to get more information about the industry and to hear more curious stories around popular characters.

Tiago was kind and gave us a lot of tips, it was fun experiance, we went to the main stuff in akihabra. It was amazing

Espectacular guía! Tiene un gran conocimiento de la zona y al ver que íbamos con niños, nos personalizó el tour. Desde sitios emblemáticos, lugares de compras tanto baratas como de calidad, rincones insólitos, explicaciones de la cultura anime y manga, cosplay, cafés tematizados de sirvientas francesas y de mascotas... todo genial. Con detalles a los padres de zonas adultas, bar de degustación de sakes, etc. Todo lo que preguntamos, respondía! Y luego fue muy considerado con las alergias alimentarias de mi hija, que son bastantes. Fuimos a almorzar a un sitio super barato y bien para todos. Altamente recomendable!!!!

Tiago was super nice and had a lot of recommendation for everything (cool shops, food and a lot of anima feature places). It was a great experience.
