Great tour with a lot of insights into the life of a Shanghainese today and in the past. Big recommendation for every newbie to the city. We spontaneously also joined Bill‘s food tour afterwards which is also very worth the time and will show you many delicious bites.

Jie’s tour was amazing. She showed us around Yu’s Garden trough chinese traditional activities. She was professional and so kind to us. I would totally recommend her tour to my friends and to all the people who wants to have a different first approach to Shanghai’s culture.

Summer's tour was exactly what I wanted. I felt like I caught a glimpse into local food habits, and had delicious food along the way! Summer was friendly and accommodating.

Bill was a top quality guide. He messaged us the location and was easily contactable prior to the tour starting. Bill took us to 4 local eateries to try different dishes. He was kind and Made sure we were full. He went out of his way to find vegetarian dishes to accomodate. A lovely evening trying foods with lovely company. Fabulous introduction to Shanghai.

This was a really fun and unique tour, I loved it! I have already visited Yuyuan Garden and the Bund, honestly, Shanghai can feel a bit underwhelming if you’re not into shopping or typical sights. But this tour was completely different. The food was authentic and as local as it gets. The name of this tour absolutely matches the taste of the food. I've never experienced this before. Summer was the friendliest easygoing person I've met and you can tell that she loves and understands the city. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Shanghai even for a few hours!

This is my first time in Shanghai, my partner was here before and wanted me to see it. To hear the history of old city vs new was amazing. Susie was fantastic, she was extremely professional, her history knowledge was outstanding. She had old pictures of how the city looked compared to today. It was a 3 hour tour and while we covered a lot of ground she didn't make it feel rushed. We would highly recommend taking this tour and if you get Susie you won't be disappointed. Really excellent! Our guide Dinna showed us lots of interesting places and buildings, but more than that she gave us a real insight into Chinese life and culture. It was so interesting - the best way to discover Shanghai.

I highly recommend the night food tour with Bill in Shanghai. Bill was informative, friendly and took us to try yummy food. I never would’ve been able to try or find all these foods on my own - especially as I only had 2 nights in Shanghai. The food was affordable and it was a great experience!
