Shanghai Food Tour

Really nice food tour! We visited 4 places with really good local food and got to taste a lot of things. Food was cheap as well. Bill was very nice, knowledgeable and engaging. Would 100% recommend!

Great English speaking guide! He has real enthusiasm for what he does. Good is selected ahead of time and tourists split the cost of the food ($10.00 US dollars)

I had a wonderful morning discovering local Shanghai with Summer. It was like hanging out with a friend. I made the mistake of having breakfast so couldn't eat much on the tour. With Summer's help I took some treats back to my hotel with me. I'm a photographer so she took me to places that fit my interests. I highly recommend this food tour🌟 - just make sure your stomach is mostly empty!

I had an incredible experience with Summer! The tour was amazing as she took us to many local spots and offered us a variety of foods to try. Summer also took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of our questions. She was energetic, fun, and very friendly! I recommend her without hesitation!

Bill was excellent! Lots of great knowledge, I loved all the spots he took us to, I felt like I really got a good sense of cuisine in Shanghai. Very accommodating for diet restrictions (as much as you can be). I saw him on the street a few days later, he took some time out of his tour to give me even more recommendations.

I really liked Summer's food tour!! I've been an Anthony Bourdain for many many years and today I felt like Anthony because Summer showed me some great local places while at the same time giving me a really good introduction to Chinese culture and history! It felt like an old friend showing me around their city and by the end of the tour I was stuffed!

Great walking tour with interesting, super local, food stops. We thoroughly enjoyed Bills tour and would highly recommend joining him for a great glimpse of Shanghai's food

Summer's tour was exactly what I wanted. I felt like I caught a glimpse into local food habits, and had delicious food along the way! Summer was friendly and accommodating.

Bill was a top quality guide. He messaged us the location and was easily contactable prior to the tour starting. Bill took us to 4 local eateries to try different dishes. He was kind and Made sure we were full. He went out of his way to find vegetarian dishes to accomodate. A lovely evening trying foods with lovely company. Fabulous introduction to Shanghai.

This was a really fun and unique tour, I loved it! I have already visited Yuyuan Garden and the Bund, honestly, Shanghai can feel a bit underwhelming if you’re not into shopping or typical sights. But this tour was completely different. The food was authentic and as local as it gets. The name of this tour absolutely matches the taste of the food. I've never experienced this before. Summer was the friendliest easygoing person I've met and you can tell that she loves and understands the city. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Shanghai even for a few hours!

I highly recommend the night food tour with Bill in Shanghai. Bill was informative, friendly and took us to try yummy food. I never would’ve been able to try or find all these foods on my own - especially as I only had 2 nights in Shanghai. The food was affordable and it was a great experience!

Travelling alone it can be hard to try different foods in China, as all the portions are huge. This tour made it possible to share many different dishes with explanation on how to eat and much more. Things I would never order from a menu that tasted amazing (and not that amazing). Don't know if I will ever succeed in eating soup dumplings without making a mess but at least I now know better how it should be done.
