Such an amazing tour with our guide summer We explored jinagan neighborhood like true locals, learning about tradition, lifestyle, food culture and overall vibe . Summer was very welcoming and we got to hear her story in Shanghai and china. We felt very open with her as she was a long time friend. We loved how she gave as a lot of recommendations for our stay and helped us plan the itinerary for the next few days.

Bill was witty, sharp and at ease. He openly answered everything without any reservations. And the food -oh my my - the xia long bao's were mind blowing.

It was my last day out of a three week-long trip in China, and what a lovely way to wrap up my trip. I was the only person on this tour, and rather than cancelling (which would have been understandable), Summer showed up, and full of enthusiasm. Right of the bat, she came across has a very friendly, curious person, which made for a very engaging and easy-going tour. The coffee was the best I’ve had in months, and one snack in particular - the meat moon cakes - were easily top three of my favourite foods in China (at the end of the tour, I went back and got myself a box to take home). I also particularly enjoyed visiting a state-owned local community center, because it gave me a bigger insight into daily life in Shanghai. Getting to know Summer and diving deep into matters of Chinese faith and culture was perhaps the biggest treat of them all. 测测, obrigada, Summer-san!

Fantastic tour and Bill is truly an experienced foodie who introduced us to delicious Shanghainese food spots that we definitely wouldn’t have found on our own.
