Best tour so far. Bill was amazing. He showed us a bright variation of food and the places were amazing. Actually the food was not just super tasty, it was a lot. He paid in advance and ordered and the cost per person were under 60¥. We were 7 people and the group size were perfect. All people were very open and talkative. Loved the tour and the guide! Good job, Bill!

I really enjoyed walking and of course eating with Bill. He gave us lots of information, not only on food, but also history, life and people in Shanghai. I thought the restaurants and food were nicely chosen, varied and delicious. And I was happy that Bill chose vegetarian option for me. The tour with Bill and interesting, open-minded other people was a great experience. Thank you!

I can highly recommend the food tour with Bill. He is a very entertaining guy, we got lots of background information and stories about the development of the area and the specifics of the food and the stores we visited. Bill speaks fluent english and has a got humour. We enjoyed the tour a lot!

Great guide and recommend to others. I did it as I had time between 2 international flights and wanted to explore Shanghai a bit / have a change from airplane food. Easy to get to meeting point from airport. Tried 3-4 different places and the guide was flexible with eating arrangements and choices. Easy to understand English and interesting talks.

Bill took us to places I would not have been able to find on my own. The food was authentic and delicious! I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to take a deep look into some typical foods of Shanghai. I will go back to the restaurants before I leave the city. I for sure am going to have soup dumplings for breakfast before I leave this amazing city.

Bill's tour was a great way to start our visit to Shanghai! He took us to truly local eats where we could try the full range of Shanghainese cuisine. His English is excellent and was very helpful!

An excellent way to try different and real local food in authentic local places to eat. We had dumplings every possible way including pork, crab and shrimp soup dumplings, rice, noodles, pork cooked different ways, eel, tofu, pickles. Amazing selection and all delicious. Bill also gave us some interesting history of Shanghai as we walked around the streets. As we were on a layover with limited time we had to leave the tour before the final restaurant that was the sweet food. Bill kindly walked us to the closest metro station while the other tour members waited in line for sweets. Highly recommend doing this tour, we would never have gone into the places that Bill took us and it was a great experience eating with the locals
