Shanghai Food Tour

Great walking tour with interesting, super local, food stops. We thoroughly enjoyed Bills tour and would highly recommend joining him for a great glimpse of Shanghai's food

Summer's tour was exactly what I wanted. I felt like I caught a glimpse into local food habits, and had delicious food along the way! Summer was friendly and accommodating.

Bill was a top quality guide. He messaged us the location and was easily contactable prior to the tour starting. Bill took us to 4 local eateries to try different dishes. He was kind and Made sure we were full. He went out of his way to find vegetarian dishes to accomodate. A lovely evening trying foods with lovely company. Fabulous introduction to Shanghai.

This was a really fun and unique tour, I loved it! I have already visited Yuyuan Garden and the Bund, honestly, Shanghai can feel a bit underwhelming if you’re not into shopping or typical sights. But this tour was completely different. The food was authentic and as local as it gets. The name of this tour absolutely matches the taste of the food. I've never experienced this before. Summer was the friendliest easygoing person I've met and you can tell that she loves and understands the city. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Shanghai even for a few hours!

I highly recommend the night food tour with Bill in Shanghai. Bill was informative, friendly and took us to try yummy food. I never would’ve been able to try or find all these foods on my own - especially as I only had 2 nights in Shanghai. The food was affordable and it was a great experience!

Travelling alone it can be hard to try different foods in China, as all the portions are huge. This tour made it possible to share many different dishes with explanation on how to eat and much more. Things I would never order from a menu that tasted amazing (and not that amazing). Don't know if I will ever succeed in eating soup dumplings without making a mess but at least I now know better how it should be done.

We ate original Shanghai dumplings recommended by Bill. With his tips, is a better experience. We walk the city at night looking for a pleasent meal and ended with a nice surprise!

Took us to places you really wouldn’t think to visit as a tourist in Shanghai. Every place had its own uniqueness and delicious bites!! Would definitely recommend as solo/with a friend.

Highly recommended ! We visited local places that you wouldn't find on your own, very delicious and cheap. Vegetarian options were very good as well. Bill shared a lot of interesting insights about the city, we enjoyed so much that the next day took walking tour with him. Thank you ! ♥️
