Took us to places you really wouldn’t think to visit as a tourist in Shanghai. Every place had its own uniqueness and delicious bites!! Would definitely recommend as solo/with a friend.

Highly recommended ! We visited local places that you wouldn't find on your own, very delicious and cheap. Vegetarian options were very good as well. Bill shared a lot of interesting insights about the city, we enjoyed so much that the next day took walking tour with him. Thank you ! ♥️

Amazing! Highly recommended.. Bill guided us through the authentic local food of Shanghai. We visited small restaurants full of locals, and Bill also shared tips about the city and Chinese culture. We each spent only around €8 and ate a lot.. we couldn’t have wished for a better tour!

Ich hatte sehr viel spass ab der Tour. bill hat uns kleine, lokale Orte gezeigt und dabei auch klassiche Shanghai-Gerichte Dazu hat er uns auch viele interessante Sachen erzählt. Würde ich sofort weiterempfehlen!

Bill was a fantastic guide — very helpful, well prepared, and always ready to answer questions. He shared many interesting facts about the food, explained ingredients and preparation, and showed us how to enjoy each dish. We loved trying so many different foods by sharing with others. His fun, entertaining style made the tour even better. Definitely a recommended experience — we’d never have found these places on our own.

Bill was an outstanding guide. He shared personal stories that made the experience feel warm and genuine, and he had so much knowledge about Shanghai’s history and culture. He took us to special local spots we never would have found on our own, and every place served food that was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect mix of storytelling, culture, and great flavors. Best tour so far. Bill was amazing. He showed us a bright variation of food and the places were amazing. Actually the food was not just super tasty, it was a lot. He paid in advance and ordered and the cost per person were under 60¥. We were 7 people and the group size were perfect. All people were very open and talkative. Loved the tour and the guide! Good job, Bill!

I really enjoyed walking and of course eating with Bill. He gave us lots of information, not only on food, but also history, life and people in Shanghai. I thought the restaurants and food were nicely chosen, varied and delicious. And I was happy that Bill chose vegetarian option for me. The tour with Bill and interesting, open-minded other people was a great experience. Thank you!
