Now, I am a little bit more familiar with the city of Shkodra, the country of Albania and the people that shaped them. Paola did an incredible job of mixing history into the tour while making it entertaining with the pop quizzes and photo scavenger hunt. I liked the idea of turning the mini games into a bigger game where the winner walks away with a special Albanian prize at the end of the tour. Thank you to Paola, and the buildings of Shkodra. You have made my trip more enriching. I would recommend to friends, family and fellow travellers.

Highly recommended! Nermin was a professional and delightful guide, a clear speaker with fascinating stories of life under Communism and how it all changed in 1991 when she was a young girl. Each of the points of interest were woven into her overall story expertly. Outstanding tour!

Conocer la ciudad de Skhoder de la mano de Nermin es toda una experiencia inmersiva. Se nota su pasión por la historia y la vida de la ciudad, nos la transmitió en su tour y fuimos capaces de vivirlo por un momento. Hace un recorrido, no solo por la historia de la ciudad, si no de todo el pais y sus raíces. Un completo encanto. Si no hacéis un tour con ella, os estáis perdiendo una pieza fundamental en vuestra experiencia albanesa!!

Nermin ist eine grandiose Stadtführerin! Wir haben durch die Führung einen Einblick in die Albanische Geschichte erhalten, die Kultur und die Menschen. Durch Nermins herzliche und humorvolle Art vergingen die 2 Stunden wie im Flug! Uns hat besonders die ganz persönliche Note der Führung gefallen. Wir haben Shkodra ganz zum Schluss unserer Albanienreise besucht und durch Nermins persönlichen Erzählungen nochmals ein anderes Bild von Albanien erhalten. Danke Nermin für die tolle Führung!

Es war eine ganz zauberhafte Tour mit vielen interessanten Informationen über die Stadt, aber auch über Albaniens Geschichte im Allgemeinen. Nermin hat eine fantastische Ausstrahlung und dadurch, dass ihre Familie seit Generationen hier verwurzelt ist, lebt sie diese Tour durch ihre Heimatstadt richtig. Es hat ganz viel Spaß gemacht und ich würde jedem diese Tour empfehlen!

Other than that she shared so many personal stories that you feel much more contented to the city! It never got boring and she has a real talent to communicate and make you feel welcome.
