We ended up doing the Stroll through the Past, Present and Future of Singapore with Stephen. Always his communications were very clear and accommodating. This was our third time in Singapore, and our first walk. We are so glad we booked this tour on our first day. It makes such a difference when you see and do things knowing the history and some of the stories about what you see. Stephen is very entertaining, interesting and passionate about what he presents. He answered all our questions and gave us great insights into many cultural aspects of the people and how to have a successful time as a visitor. The anecdotes he shared as we walked were funny, topical and informed. It is one of the best walking tours we have been on anywhere, free or not for free. Stephen was very sensitive to the needs of every group member, and was respectful and patient. He also recommended places to try when eating out. It set us up dor our best visit to Singapore so far. Thank you Stephen!

My mum and I joined Wahida for an informative and delicious tour as we discovered foodie areas of Singapore. Wahida was friendly and funny and graciously answered our questions about food and life in Singapore. We saw a lot, ate a lot and learned a lot. Highly recommend this tour if you come to Singapore.

The tour with Wahida was great!! It opened me to a whole new side of Singapore, which is full of uniq flavours and rooted in rich history and culture. The food was really good and very cheap and I felt like the guide helped us make smart choices about it. She also introduced us to the local vendors which was really nice - we were able to meet the people behind it all and hear a little bit about their background. Fully recommend this tour!

Yesterday I became a tour group of one for my guide Wahida Angel who kindly chose not to cancel due to lack of participants. A winning "the show must go on" attitude prevailed. The tour was the 'Original Food Tour: Chinatown Hawker Hop' which gave you a better understanding of the variety of dishes on offer, their regional origin and an opportunity to taste something new and exotic. If you're a food snob, you can brag that you ate from Michelin rated vendors.... It was a fun day indeed but sadly not all that profitable for Angel. 😞 Thoroughly recommended for all as Angel's presentation style is informative, captivating and far from dry. ...and then at the end of the day, due to the good food and company, I hadn't snapped any food pic. 🥺

Really great tour! Our guide, Angel, was funny, entertaining, and informative. She taught us a lot about the food and culture in Malaysia. We explored a lot of Chinatown and she even took us inside the Temple of the Tooth Relic. We had a lot of different foods and now I know where to go to get the best wan ton, chicken noodles and laksa! It was great fun! I highly recommend it!

I loved this tour. Angel was great. So down-to-earth and really one of the best walking tours I’ve done. Less walking, lots of eating, and so great to have a wonderful local guide like Angel explain all the food and give recommendations. Highly recommend 🤩

海外在住経験なしの日本人です。 同じく生粋の日本育ちである、17歳の娘と一緒に参加しました。 シンガポールは2度目ですが、山ほどあるホーカーズのお店の中からどこの何を食べるべきか、観光客に人気のミシュラン掲載店以外のお店が知りたく、参加しました。 説明は英語のみでしたが、Angelは携帯型のマイクとスピーカーを使ってくれたので、離れていても聞きやすかったです。 日本語で行われるプライベートツアーと違い、様々な国の人達と、ひと時の交流を持つことができるのも素晴らしい点のひとつ。英語学習中の娘にも、よい刺激になったようです。 シングリッシュは聞き取りにくい、と言われることもありますが、私がそう感じたのはホーカーズなどごく一部の場所だけでした。 Angelの英語は聞き取りやすく、ゆっくり話してもらうこともできますし、身振り手振りや、google翻訳を使っての理解も可能と思いますので、興味を感じられたらぜひトライください。 単なる美味しい店の紹介だけではなく、知らない場所で飲む。お店の選び方や、ポーパーズが赤える問題までできることができ、とても有益な時間でした。

Es war eine sehr kurzweilige und sehr informative und interessante Tour! Wahida (Angel) liebt, was sie vermittelt - das merkt man von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute! 👌 Wir hatten eine gute Zeit mit Wahida, haben einige Dinge probiert, die wir ganz sicher sonst nicht probiert hätten und haben uns ein bisschen wie "echte Singapurer" gefühlt... 😊 Dankeschön Wahida!!! 🫶🫶🫶 Alles war übrigens sehr LECKER 😋 und mein neues Lieblingsgetränk: Soursop Drink 😍

Stephen packed so much into our tour, including the use of Singapore’s transit system! Knowledgeable and engaging, time flew by and we walked away with a greater appreciation feel for the city. Stephen even provides some snacks and specialties from each of the neighborhoods. If it’s your first time to Singapore, this is a fantastic way to take in history and culture and a little taste of the country.
