Sehr gute Tour, man kommt zu Plätzen, die man alleine nicht finden würde und bekommt einen tollen Einblick in die Esskultur. Angel ist sehr professionell und witzig. Wir würden die Tour wieder besuchen.

Great tour - we found so many incredible food spots

We booked the free walking Hawker tour with Angel, pretty last minute. We wanted to try some Hawker food, see and hear about some history of Singapore’s Chinatown, and talk with a local. This tour of course, checked allll the boxes! Angel is super friendly, offered tons of info and suggestions on what to try or where else to go, and made a couple of hours really fly by. She also helped teach us how to navigate the mazes of malls so you don’t have to melt in the heat outside!

We had a wonderful morning with Angel. She gave us a fantastic insight into the local food culture of Singapore. We loved the food and highly recommend the tour.

Angel is very passionate about Singapore and the food on the tour. We stopped at a lot of Michelin cheap eats and I had delicious snacks and meals. I really enjoyed the day and will highly recommend

Stephen was a great tour guide and a gentleman. He did a great job of keeping the largish group together. He took us to places I would not have found/visited on my own. I wish I could have gone to his afternoon tour as well as I really wanted more history context of the power changes. But he did include a bit of this on the ‘taste’ (glimpse) of Singapore. I’d book again with him as he obviously knows a lot. Thank you.

We had a wonderful experience with Angel. She is knowledgeable, passionate about food and people, and moreover she is kind. She introduced us to vendors and cooks and we had some lovely interactions thst we never would have had in our own. Could not have asked for a better experience. The concept of a “free” food tour where you choose what food to purchase worked great for us. We were not overly full at the end of the tour and we had received a lot of interesting information so that we could return later to sample more of the dishes. In addition to the food, Angel explained some of the history and culture of Chinatown and Singapore in general. I would do this again. Highly recommended.

It was a very informative tour about the history of Singapore. We got to visit a lot of Hawker stalls and got to taste some dishes we liked. Wahida took our dietary restrictions into account and gave us a really pleasant experience. If you are a foodie and want to experience new tastes, this tour is definitely for you!

Stephen is the best guide ever! I've been on so many walking tours, but this one was definitely one of the best ones I've been on. His expertise, humor, planning, accommodation, and presentation of information is top tier. I absolutely loved every moment of this tour and learned so much more from it even though I had done a similar tour of Kampong Glam earlier in my trip. Stephen is a true pro who knows how to make people comfortable and what tourists are curious about. He also provides the best local spot recommendations! I loved every single place he recommended.

This is a really fabulous tour. Angel has put together a great route through 3 Hawkers markets with opportunity to see a fish market and veg market too. She explained something of Singapore’s history and how that has influenced the food culture and what is so interesting is how the hawker markets are for the immediate community and the chefs are part of that community too. Their skill and passion for what they make and accountability to locals to offer a service that is the backbone of their diet was really impressive. I would love to have eaten so many of the dishes on offer and loved what I did try. Angel has a great relationship with the stall holders we visited and was patient and helpful throughout. This is a really great tour with an experienced guide that will explain to you and equip you to buy food at Hawkers markets.

This was the best tour I have ever attended. If I could, I would give Angel 100 stars. She is just an amazing person and a stupendous tour guide. First, as soon as I made the booking, Angel reached out to me and asked me a series of questions to help us guide our tour. It was clear to me, even then that she was a warm, friendly and down to earth person. She is a great guide and a great person. Second, there is the tour itself. I have been in Asia for two weeks and have been a little hesitant to try new foods and then Angel educated me. Her historic knowledge of food and individual stalls in the hawker areas made me so comfortable. With Angel, you were treated like a local wherever you went. Not only that, she is personal friends with many of the chefs and cooks and workers that I met. It was like I was given a behind the scenes look into food culture in Singapore. You can’t put a price tag on the value of the education she provided. The food was delicious and authentic, and served to us by the most wonderful proprietors. At the end of the tour, I couldn’t wait to get back to the booth that I had visited to eat some more. If you are seeking to have a real authentic experience with a true local here in Singapore, Angel is the woman to see. Lastly, there was her knowledge of the history of Singapore in its unique cultural contribution to the world landscape. She didn’t teach me about just food. She taught me about Singapore itself and its historical origin. The tour wove together culture and food. Her knowledge about this place, her home, was extreme. As we walked along she shared story after story with me about life in Singapore. Her understanding of Singapore’s unique, cultural heritage was terrific too. There are definitely a lot of tour operators out there looking to make a fast buck. I felt so fortunate to meet Angel because for her it was her passion. From the moment we met until the end of her tour it was just one wonderful experience after another. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Angel to anyone visiting Singapore and wanting to live like a local. She is exactly the person to guide you to a true local experience. Thank you so much, Angel.
