They mainly take you too foodstalls, where you can then buy food if you want to. We spent about 1.5h waiting for poeple to eat.

We had a great tour with Tomo at the Outer Market. Unfortunately it was very busy because of the holiday period but our guide did an amazing job to keep us together and had great recommendations for which stalls were the best to buy from.

Fabulous overview of the shrine and market. Led us through absolute chaos! Great tasting stops along the way. Egg omelette. Wagyu skewers. Eel skewers. Strawberries. So much fun!

We are world travelers who stopped in Tokyo for several days en route elsewhere. We connected with Kawa on Guru for a 2-hour food tour of the Tsukiji Market bookended by two shrines, one Buddhist and one Shinto. Kawa is incredibly knowledgeable about the geographic area, the architecture, the history, the religious traditions, and also the market stalls and anecdotes about the types of food, how they fit within Japanese culture, and where to find the most delectable offerings! He was also incredibly sensitive to any food restrictions that certain members of our group had. It was a thoroughly enjoyable way to begin our stay in Tokyo and we cannot recommend Kawa enough!

Very good tour of market area - come with an empty stomach because there are at least 4 stops where you can eat awesome sushi, bbq, etc. Great thing to do on the first day of your trip in Tokyo.

George was a phenomenal guide! We learned so much and he was very good about sharing where we could find unique things for great prices. He was able to cater to a pescatarian diet requests.

We loved this tour! Our guru, Keiko, had such great energy and was so much fun to be with. She took us to the places with her freshest fish and most delicious food and snacks. She took us to the temple and explained what we were seeing and the customs of cleaning our hands and bowing inside the temple. It was such a great way to see the market and start the day!
