I've done many free walking tours around the world, and Mauricio's tour in Tromsø was honestly one of the most enjoyable. Mauricio brings great energy, passion, and warmth to the experience. His storytelling is lively and engaging, and he shares not only historical facts but also interesting cultural insights, local customs, and everyday life in Norway, which makes the tour feel authentic and rich. He speaks clearly, keeps a very good pace for the group, and always makes sure everyone has arrived before he starts talking. Even in winter conditions, he was attentive and chose comfortable places to stop where we could listen without distraction. A very nice extra is that in many local shops you can get 10% off simply by mentioning his name, which shows the strong relationship he has with local businesses. Along the way, several people stopped to greet him, making it clear how well known and appreciated he is in the community. What appreciated most was how natural and personal the tour felt. Mauricio was very knowledgeable and quite entertaining. His passion for Tromso was very visible. He helped us understand the history and other details of the place. Only concern was that the group was very big! Hence, sometimes if was difficult to ask Qs or follow the commentary if you were at the back of the group.

It was a great opportunity to get to know the city

Mauricio's love for Tromso is very evident in his story telling. He enjoys sharing stories and local recommendations. It was very cold outside, however he managed to get us inside few stores in between to make the tour bit comfortable. Definitely recommend this walking tour!

Mauricio was an absolutely fantastic guide and made this Free Walking Tour one of the highlights of my time in Tromsø. He took us to both the main hotspots and real hidden gems, and managed to show us Tromsø in a nutshell; its history, art, culture, people and food, all in a very natural and engaging way. Even though it was extremely cold, Mauricio was thoughtful and clever about bringing us inside at different stops so we could stay warm without missing any of the experience. He is very knowledgeable, speaks clearly, and keeps the group engaged the entire time – you are honestly not bored for a single second. On top of that, he is genuinely funny, with great wit and charm, which makes the tour feel relaxed and personal. I really appreciated the personal recommendations and the fact that we could ask him anything. Highly recommend this walk if you want an authentic, fun and insightful introduction to Tromsø. Great to do in the start at your trip as he give many recommendations on what to do and where to eat etc.

Mauricio nos hizo un excelente recorrido de la ciudad por casi 3hrs. Abarcamos todo el centro, nos contó detalles interesantes y divertidos y el tour se hizo extremadamente entretenido. El tiempo se pasó volando. Totalmente recomendable!!!

Estoy pasando unos días en Tromsø con mi suegra y decidimos hacer un walking tour para conocer mejor la ciudad… y la verdad fue una muy linda experiencia! Hicimos el tour con Mauricio, un guía argentino, súper cercano y con mucho conocimiento del lugar. A lo largo del recorrido nos fue llevando por distintos puntos clave mientras iba combinando historia, cultura y aspectos de la vida cotidiana en Tromsø, todo explicado de una forma clara, interesante y súper amena. Además fue compartiendo recomendaciones y datos muy piolas, de esos que sirven para el resto de tu viaje! El recorrido fue muy dinámico, se hace súper llevadero, y como cierre incluye una mini película de unos 12 minutos que termina de integrar todo lo que fuimos viendo. Sinceramente, lo recomiendo mucho si están en Tromsø y quieren entender un poco más la ciudad desde un lugar cercano, bien explicado y con muy buena onda ✨

Mauricio makes the tour funny and entertaining even in the VERY cold weather. He tells interesting stories, gives interesting facts and very useful tips for our trip. The trip goes sometimes inside buildings to keep us warm and Mauricio answers every questions during the tour and after if you need it. It was awesome!
