My partner and I were fortunate to have a private tour of Varanasi with Anant. He is a highly knowledgeable guide with a strong understanding of the city's history and culture, and he brought that knowledge into our conversations throughout the tour. We had plenty of questions, and Anant was always willing to engage with them. Rather than simply answering what we asked, he paid attention to our reactions and often noticed when we looked puzzled or seemed ready to explore a subject further. He welcomed that curiosity and took the time to provide additional context, which made the tour feel much more like a conversation than a standard guided visit. It was also clear that he is a licensed tour guide. His explanations were well structured, while his familiarity with the city allowed him to add details that helped us better understand what we were seeing. We enjoyed our first tour so much that we decided to book Anant again for another tour the following day, and that experience was just as engaging. Having the same guide allowed us to build on what we had learned and continue exploring Varanasi from his perspective. We were very pleased with Anant's guidance and would recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and attentive guide while visiting Varanasi.

Marcelo nos enseñó los templos más importantes, casa de la liberación, crematorios y nos llevó al Blue lassi donde nos tomamos un lassi riquísimo. En todo momento estuvo pendiente de nosotros, fue ameno y muy agradable. Totalmente recomendable!! Mucha suerte Marcelo!!

Anant was a fantastic guide who showed us the best street food places in Varanasi! We tried lots of delicious things, savoury and sweet! He also told us lots of interesting things about the city, and was really friendly and easy to chat to :) He also does other tours of the city, which we would have done if we had more time!

We had a very nice time exploring Varanasi with our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting information about the city, its history and culture. The tour was well organised and gave us a good introduction to Varanasi. As a personal suggestion, I would have loved to discover a little more of everyday life in the city, with perhaps some local markets, small streets or street food. This was not part of what was advertised, so it’s absolutely not a criticism of the tour itself, just something I personally would have enjoyed. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and a good way to discover Varanasi. Thank you! 😊

Anand sir was extremely helpful and even though the official timings were only 3 hours we were almost going through the narrow historical lanes of Varanasi for 5 hours and Anand sir never rushed us. He knew all the local places and had helpful recommendations for everything. Would recommend him wholeheartedly
