Free Walking Tours In Venice in the afternoon

I absolutely loved the tour. Our tour guide, Mary, was so knowledgeable about Venice. She gave so many tips about the city and was able to answer very niche questions about the city's history and culture.

This walking tour is very informative and takes you through various locations to learn many aspects of how Venice was built. Tour takes approx 2 hrs. Guide is very knowledgeable and helpful.

This was a very enjoyable tour. It took us to areas of Venice that are less visited by tourist, but were full of charm and history. The tour guide was able to provide a good background of history and current information about the people who lived and worked in the areas. We had time for questions and even got to visit the inside of a spectacular church at the end of the tour we were given a QR code to get recommendations for restaurants and other sites in Venice. I recommend it highly.

The tour did compromise our expectations more than we could imagine. During the tour the guide was informing us about what she was about to tell and told us the right things on the right spot. We visited the not so common places where tourist would go, what was a pro! Normally we already would visit the big names like Rialto and St Marco, so this tour added to our vacation. Next to that, a big pro is that we got information about public transport, restaurants, bars and some other useful information. This was all lined up in a pdf file, which we used for the rest of our visit. The guide was really interesting to listen to and knew all the answers to the questions asked. She also asked if someone had questions at every spot. She took the time to inform us well and was leading us trough the city, which sometimes can be quite difficult due to narrow streets and a labyrinth of streets.
