Hello everyone! To banish in a certain way the question: What is a spanish guy doing in Budapest? I would like to tell you that last year I finished my degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences; and I am here with a colleague and friend from the university. We both came here to carry out a project together, as we would like to be able to create our own sports centre. In the same way, we wanted to go abroad to travel, get to know other cultures, customs and improve our English. So in order to stay away from home, and to take advantage of my curiosity, I decided to study and learn about Hungarians and the history of their capital; to help everyone who visits this wonderful city to have the best possible experience.
Budapest stands out for its quirky and quirky mix of colors, style and life. The Hungarian capital offers endless opportunities to visitors and there is no doubt about that, but ... do you know why it has finally acquired those characteristics? In the tour "BUDAPEST: Hidden history between streets" you will be able to know what a city keeps that many wanted to take over. But to stop being a diamond in the rough and become the famous jewel of the Danube, it had to be polished between the hands of the Roman people, the Ottoman looting, the corseted and stretched Austrian monarchy, the Nazi atrocities and the Soviet yoke. Now a city that has a lot to offer its visitors looks bright and renewed, thanks to the welcoming character and black humor of the Hungarian people. The protagonists of the stories are also important: we will visit Empress Sissi Square, we will know who Imre Nagy was, as well as typical aspects of "magyar" society: customs, gastronomy, some curiosities and endearing anecdotes. During the tour: - Budapest Parliament - 1956 Revolution - The rebellious Empress Sissi - Traces of the Nazi invasion - Chain Bridge - Origin and social development of the "Magyar tribes" - Basilica of Saint Itzvan - Deak Ferenc Square - Opera - Jewish Quarter The objective of this tour is definitely to have fun while we get to know its past a little more, to enjoy its brilliant present a little more.
In the Kossuth Lajos tér (Parliament Square); There is a large flagpole with a flag on it, the boy in the tie just below the flag is your guide!
