New guided sunset tour through the modern and tropical city

The tour lasts 3 hours
Available in English and Spanish

Description

"If you're looking for something different from the old town, this is a very good option." "Ines was BEYOND amazing! So well informed and she considered what we wanted." "Inés was super entertaining and informative."

For this walk, we will meet at one of the most favorable times to walk around Panama City, and you can also use the route to explore on your own.

We recommend bringing a water bottle or cash to buy drinks, water, fruits, or snacks along the way, sneakers or comfortable shoes for urban walking, fresh and comfortable clothing as it's common to sweat, sunscreen, and rain protection.

We will meet at Andrés Bello Park, you will recognize me by the burgundy umbrella. The park is accessible from Via Argentina, located in the Bella Vista district. We will take a tour with an architectural, historical, and cultural focus where you can appreciate modern monuments, recreational, commercial, and residential areas, as well as bars, cafes, and restaurants emblematic of the local cuisine. You will learn about the colorful tropical vegetation and gain a better understanding of the urban development that has continued in the area since the last century.

We combine the Bella Vista tour with a brief walk through the avenues of Calidonia to appreciate the beginnings of modernity in avenues, facades, and houses in the area that still preserve a window to the past. You will learn about the results of urban renewal projects that have taken place in recent decades and see this modern and tropical city with new eyes.

We will end in a central area.

This tour is ideal to do before or after your guided visit to the archaeological site of Panama Viejo, the historic district of San Felipe, Santa Ana, and El Chorrillo, also known as the Old Town and the Causeway or Amador Causeway. This tour promises to give you a greater understanding of Panama City, the only city on the Pacific coast of the Americas with more than five centuries of continuous history.

This tour was created in 2019 and has since undergone modifications.
