JP was simply the best- super knowledgeable about everything you could possibly want to know about Uruguay- but also a ton of other things. He seemed to know a little about all our countries (well over 10!) and a few languages as well. Great energy that really made our trip to Montevideo! Highly recommend JPs tour to anyone!

I was very happy to have the opportunity to take a guided tour of a lesser walked tourist area, and I was especially happy by the quality of the tour in the information that Paola provided. Having participated in several walking tours in the old city and Centro, this tour allowed me to explore a different part of Montevideo in detail, and exposed me to some cool areas that I came back to on my own afterwards. Paola added a lot of the much needed context that helped me connect the dots between the history and development of Montevideo. Thank you!

El tour con Oscar nos pareció increíblemente entretenido y completo. Visitamos desde la parte vieja de la ciudad hasta la nueva, terminando con una vista panorámica desde las alturas. Como él es cubano y nosotros viajamos ahí el año pasado, tuvimos mucho de qué charlar. Nos mostró el valor histórico, arquitectónico y cultural de muchísimas construcciones que nosotros no hubiésemos sospechado. El paseo fue muy grato y ameno. Definitivamente recomendamos hacerlo para conocer en profundidad la historia y cultura de Montevideo.

We've taken many Guruwalks in many cities and countries and this was one of the best. Jorge kept our large group entertained and interested for well over 2 hours. We got a deep dive into the history and culture of the city and country. He also provided a list of restaurants and places to check out. Highly recommend!

Interesting walk through the center of Montevideo; learnt lots of new info. Despite a cold weather the group was quite large, but it wasnt disturbing at all

This tour is a good thing to do in your first days in Montevideo. Not only do they show you some sites but they are filled with knowledge of free or reasonably priced ideas of things to do throughout your stay. Definitely recommend!

I cannot recommend the tour with Oscar enough! He was super flexible with our bilingual family and gave the tour in english and in spanish to accommodate us. He is truly passionate about uruguay and montevideo, and very knowledgeable about its history and its famous places. We really really enjoyed this tour!

Juan Paulo is kind friendly fun and very knowledgeable. I learnt so much about Uruguay as a nation the historical background and cultural influences. The walk was about 2.5 hours covering different areas. I highly recommend this tour.

This is a very good walk that fills in the history of the Old City, Montevideo and Uruguay! J.P. was entertaining and interesting and we all communicated well together - lots of questions flowing both ways!

Jorge was a superb tour guide. Highly knowledgeable and personable, he blended history and architecture with humor and personal stories. He was very open about the challenges and successes of the country and the city. Two hours plus flew by and we learned a lot! Highly recommend him.
