About the Tour

In this tour we will walk through the Old Town and I will show old pictures to see how the city has changed in the last century.

We will begin at the Art Nouveau Nord train station. We will beautiful pictures and main aspects of this building. From here we will go to the Town Hall Square, where we will see the neoclassical buildings such as the Town Hall and the Post Office. We will also see the Central Market (another Art Nouveau building) and the Silk market (civil gothic art style from the 15th century and a UNESCO World Heritage site).

We will visit the Round Square, the Queen Square and the Virgin Square which is close to the Generalitat Palace (Regional Government). Near this building we will find one of the symbols of Valencia: the Serranos Towers, where we will learn how important was the Turia river for the history of the city.

After visiting the romanic gate of the Cathedral, Paz street (Peace) and Marqués de Dos Aguas Palace, it will shopping: Poeta Querol street, Don Juan de Austria street and Colon street are the perfect places for all kind of shopping lovers, from high-class to low cost buyers.

And the last stop for our tour will be another Art Nouveau building: Colón market, a wonderful meeting point to rest, sit down, have a coffee and share our pictures at the social networks.

Ha sido un tour muy interesante. El guía, Enrique, una persona muy amable y atenta. Tuvimos un percance para llegar al punto de encuentro y se adaptó a nosotros para que no nos perdiéramos nada. Respetando las medidas Covid, nos proporcionó gel hidroalcoholico y llevaba en todo momento la mascarilla puesta. Ha sido un verdadero placer y lo recomiendo.
