We are two architects who have been carrying out architectural routes (both historical and contemporary) for years in the city of Valencia. In addition, we have both done deep research studies (Máster and PhD) on the architecture of the city of Valencia.

Tour description

The Turia Garden is the largest urban park in Spain, with an area of ​​over one hundred hectares that covers nine kilometers. We will bike along The River Turia, stopping at the bridges (9 d'Octubre, Arts, Trinidad, Flowers Bridge among the others) and some other interesting places, like the Palau de la Música, the Slaughterhouse (recently transformed into a Sport Center), the Alameda Underground Station and the Gulliver.

Starting with a visit of the Valencian History Museum and "Parque de Cabecera", a very beautiful landscape design project near to it , we will go to 18 historical and modern bridges of Valencia, finishing at the Arts and Science City, by Santiago Calatrava.

Also, we will pay attention to the design of the different gardens in the river created by some well know architects like Ricardo Bofill, Santiago Calatrava or the team Veges Tú - Mediterrania.
