I'm an English teacher who has always had a passion for art and history. I have been living in Milan since I was a little kid, so I got to know my city well in all these years, thus giving you the local point of view. In the past few years, I decided I wanted to enjoy everything I had and that included this amazing city. Walking around Milan is like a treasure hunt: there is so much of everything and getting to put the puzzle of what I studied and learned in books together, makes me feel complete and as if I belong to this city.

About the tour

Explore the magnificent Milan, breathing in its elegance and creativity. With this unique vibrant tour you will not only see all the famous sites, but also many hidden gems.

Your English mother-tongue local guide is funny, passionate and knowledgeable. She loves Milan, her home city, and you'll love it too as you travel on this voyage of discovery. You'll get lots of extra suggestions for your holiday stay in Milan.

Milan's 2000-year history will take shape through fascinating legends, myths and art. You'll see the influence of the Roman, Spanish, Austrian, and French conquerors: from Napoleon's “Arch of Peace” to "The Devil wears Prada”.

This unique Tour will start at the roman basilica of Saint Ambrogio and will end in Piazza Duomo. There will be a 5-min break and a toilet stop.

This activity includes:

- Sant'Ambrogio - history, war, religion and myths

- Santa Maria delle Grazie - Last Supper

- Sforza Castle - family feuds, Leonardo Da Vinci and Parco Sempione

- Brera district - a bohemian neighborhood with charming streets and hidden alleys. It used to be home to artists, now it is an artsy area where creativity thrives in many different forms

I loved this tour! Chiara did a wonderful job of telling the story of Milan. This storytelling experience is something that should be included in every trip to the city. She also gave great recommendations for cafes and restaurants that are definitely not tourist traps.

It was a fantastic tour!

Chiara showed us a lot of interesting things and told us many anactodes and myths. Good way of acting history, so it isn't too much information to remember.

Chiara is very kind and sweet, always making sure we are ok and answering our questions.

We covered a lot of streets, and so we got to see, not only the city centre, but also the surroundings.

Great way to start your stay in Milan.

Very good recommendations and names of places to visit.
