JC was engaging and very personable. He interacted well with the group and presented information in an entertaining and informative manner so that you had a good overview of the history and culture of the city and its relationship to the wider country. We enjoyed the tour very much.

It was our first time in Valencia and John's Authentic Tour was a great introduction to this beautiful city. John explained the fascinating history, pointed out many of the important buildings and gave us excellent recommendations on restaurants and places to visit. We would highly recommend John's tour.

The Guru Walk tour of Valencia, Spain Historic Center with our guide, Ulysis was excellent & interesting. Unlike other tours that bore you with too much history, Ulysses mixed it up with facts, stories and humor.

Natalia was super knowledgeable and a great tour guide. She gave us a lot of historical and cultural details, and it was truly a pleasure.

Our guide Ulises is a great entertainer and storyteller. We've learned lots of interesting things, so I would encourage everyone to take the tour and learn more about València.

Ulises was an amazing guide! He showed us the biggest attractions around the old town, but he also had a very entertaining way of talking about the history and importance of each monument. What really stood out to me was that, even though the tour was in English, he was very willing to talk to me and my boyfriend in Spanish, after we told him that we are learning it. Would recommend the tour to anyone!

Duncan’s tour is for those that want to learn the history and culture of Valencia. He focuses on pointing out great places to eat, but also takes the time to explain the complex history of the area. He timed the tour on Thursday to enjoy drinks with the view of the cathedral and the irrigation discussion ceremony. He really navigates the Mercado Central, explaining Valencian specialties. He was very generous with his time and gave us a list of things to do with our remaining time in Valencia as well as tips for navigating the city during the Fallas festival with the fireworks. Was a great way to start our Valencia trip. His English was great and easy to understand his tour narration.

I have taken several Guru walking tours and have been consistently impressed with the overall quality of both our tour guides and tours. The main reason for the slow response in submitting a review is that John gave us so many suggestions for things to see and do while in Valencia, we were busy exploring! John was exceptional!! We were a tour of 2 as unfortunately just prior to our tour, 3 other guests cancelled. It made no difference. John provided us with lots of stories and details of the area and history. It felt very customized as he asked questions and listened to our responses. In addition to a very thorough and engaging tour, John was exceptional with follow up. He provided numerous recommendations and continued to provide additional comments in response to our questions. I would highly recommend John and this tour for anyone visiting Valencia.

Ulieses was entertaining. Lots of funny stories interwoven with history and beautiful sights. We really enjoyed it.

I have done Guru tours a few times now and really appreciate the I site into the city. It offers a quick overview of of the city allowing us time to decide where I actually want to invest my time. Bring something (phone) to make fast notes…..
