Tour description
In this Changing of the Guard Palace of Moneda and Pre-Hispanic Chile Tour, you will be able to learn about the main landmarks of Republican Chile in an entertaining activity, which includes the changing of the Presidential Guard in front of the Palacio de la Moneda, a Republican tradition since 1851, until its demystification in around the Santiago Foundation, at the foot of Cerro Santa Lucia.
We will meet next to the Entel Tower, the largest telecommunications tower in Santiago, where we will explain some aspects of it and then we will locate ourselves in front of the Presidential Palace and observe the traditional changing of the guard of Carabineros.
Once the ceremony is over, we will stay in front of La Moneda, to talk about its history and recent events, such as the 1973 coup and the death of President Salvador Allende.
