I was travelling around Europe and stopped in Bordeaux for a weekend. I decided to do the UNESCO walking tour with 5 Star Tours.

My guide was Mariana and she was brilliant throughout. There was 13 on the tour which was a nice size for a walking tour. I have done many before and this was definitely one of the best.

We started in the area of Hôtel de Ville and viewed the Cathedral and tower of Per Berland. The tour continued through the old town streets which were so beautiful. We stopped for a canele along the way which is a local pastry from the area.

We visited sights such as place de la Bourse, porte Cailhau and the grand theatre.

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bordeaux.
