We are a professional community that loves history and is eager to showcase the wonderful cities of Brussels and Bruges. Coming from different disciplines such as communication, the arts and the social sciences, we show the city in a different, interesting and profound way. We would like to tell you the official history of the city, but also that history that has been forgotten or ignored, and that is waiting to be discovered in the different corners of the city.
About the tour
Our free tour of Bruges begins at the Grote Markt. From there we will appreciate the Belfort bell tower, whose 47 bells set the rhythm of the city. Later we will advance towards the Burg Square, which will dazzle you with a festival of architectural styles and in which the Basilica of the Sacred Heart stands out. Then prepare to cross the mysterious San Bonifacio Bridge, and then surround the Church of Notre Dame de Bruges. Finally we will travel back in time to the city's Beginario (founded in 1245) to end at the famous Minnewater or the lake of love.
