I was born and raised in Rome, the Eternal City. I am a Licensed Tour Guide and I graduated in History of Rome. I love meeting people from all over the world, sharing with them my knowledge of the most important sights along with the lesser known ones. Being a Tour Guide means to me leading tours with passion and with a hint of humor.
The tour starts in Castel Sant'Angelo, once a monumental mausoleum of Emperor Hadrian, later transformed into a fortress and prison of the Papal States. Many well-known characters were locked up in the cells of this famous monument that stands out on the right bank of the Tiber river. The visit does not include the entrance to the Castle. We will later move along Via della Conciliazione to Piazza San Pietro where you can admire the wonderful Colonnade of Gian Lorenzo Bernini before entering the most famous Basilica in the world. I will tell you about the long and complex history of this place so significant in the Christian history of the city of Rome and I will illustrate the treasures and relics preserved in this magnificent Basilica. To access the Basilica appropriate clothing is required so I recommend no shorts and covered shoulders. Minimum 5 people
N.B. To visit the Basilica we must use earphones that we collect before entering the church and they cost €1.50 per person

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
