Dominic was so knowledgeable and has spent a lot of time researching and digging up facts that are not easy to find in history books! Highly recommended doing a tour with him your first day in Ponta Delgada to get a feel for museums, restaurants and other cool things to do!

Tour estupendo por Ponta Delgada. No es una ciudad muy grande pero han sabido combinar el breve recorrido con su historia y su contexto geográfico y social. Lo recomiendo como primera toma de contacto con la isla. Aunque lo mejor, sin duda, ha sido nuestra guía Teresa. Se nota muchísimo cuando a alguien le apasiona y disfruta tanto de su trabajo, y éste ha sido el caso. Teresa ha sabido integrar a la perfección la profesionalidad con la cercanía, la diversión y su amor por São Miguel. Nos ha dejado llenos de saudades, sin duda repetiremos!

Thomas's introduction to Ponta Delgada is a must-see. His walk through the town really showcased it's beauty and history. Plus, a friendly face and good sense of humour really added value to the experience and set us up nicely for the holiday.

If you want a guide who can teach, entertain, and make the city come alive, Tina is the one.

It was a lovely tour. I knew nothing about the island before, so I appreciated that this wasn’t a ‘pop quiz’ type of tour. I learned so much, and now I have a strange appreciation for plants because of what I learned. It was historically informative, sometimes funny, and he even guided us toward future options to explore the island more. As a foodie, I also appreciated that he suggested great restaurants which I can’t wait to try. If you want to appreciate the island more, it’s a great tour to take.

I am glad I did this free walking tour of Ponte Delgada. Tina was very generous in sharing historical facts about the Açores and Ponte Delgada, so I actually learnt a lot, and very enertaining sharing anecdotes from her life on the island. It made the daily life here come to life and feel real. Highly recommended tour!

Die quasi Privattour mit Christina war super toll. Wir haben viele Orte in der Stadt besichtigt. Geschichtliche Hintergründe erhalten. Erklärungen zu Feste, Pflanzen, lokales Obst und Gemüse und Restauranttipps erhalten. Die Tour kann ich sehr empfehlen.
