Philadelphia walking tours

I think this was Eli’s first tour but to be honest? I wouldn’t have known if he hadn’t said so! He was knowledgeable, engaging, and well prepared, he even brought some of Philly’s specialties for us to try! I recommend everyone to give him a chance because he’s great!

Tom is a Great Guide, he gave us two entertaining Hours of history in Philadelphia and was very helpful to understand the American Revolution

Wow - this was truly one of the best historical city center walking tours I've ever been on - done a lot of these in Europe and one in dc and this one blew many out of the water - highly recommend - Thomas is a Philadelphia treasure - definitely get on one of his tours if you're in town ! Tom was the highlight of our trip! He was so engaging and had such a wealth of information about the city and its history. He came prepared with ponchos (it was raining), pennies for Benjamin Franklin's grave, and candy for correct trivia answers. He was deeply entertaining and clearly enjoyed sharing the experience with us. I recommended this tour to everyone we ran into on other tours and would be glad to recommend him to anyone going to Philadelphia.

Excellent tour! Tom was engaging and kind with an encyclopedic knowledge of American history. His stories really brought Philadelphia’s past and its players to life.

Thom was born and raised in Philly region and also is a history professor, so the tour had a lot of historical content and curiosities about the city. Thom explanation is also clear and he is available for answer any questions. So totally worth do it if you want to have a great tour experience.

Tom is the best compare to others who offer free services. He is knowledgeable, attentive to his group members, but most importantly entertaining. He caters to old and young. Just my small group was compiled from 6 people ages 9 to 77. And everyone had fun while learning.

Fantastic history tour of Philadelphia with Thomas. The route was well planned and flowed naturally across the key sites. Thomas was extremely knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged throughout. He also shared plenty of useful tips on where to go after the tour, which added real value. The pace was spot on. Overall, an excellent experience and highly recommended.
