Hello dear Walker, my name is Jens, I've always lived in Leipzig and was a radio presenter for ARD and private radio. Furthermore, I have dealt with music planning, coaching and stage moderation in my previous working life. I have also appeared as a book author. Look forward to a real Leipziger, with life experience and fun in communication. Greetings from Jens
An important note: this is not a classic sightseeing tour from the category: "On the left you can see the church XYZ from the year ,,,," I invite you to a very special tour in Leipzig. As a long-time radio host and presenter of many show and stage programs, I would like to bring you closer to my personal path in the media. The start, the daily work, the change of perspective. Of course, always with a look at the current development of the media in Central Germany. Find out more about working on the radio, composing music, moderation, listening to the loyalty of the listeners, observing the competition, etc. I wrote the book "Herr Ober geht auf Sendung" about my exciting time and that will keep us busy on the tour. We're going to some "original locations", so you can see a lot of today's Leipzig "by the way". The tour is particularly suitable for interested people with an affinity for the media and of course for people who are thinking of working on the microphone or in front of the camera themselves. Please book urgently at least 24 hours before the planned tour start. Other special tours may be possible upon request. Stations will be among others. Media-City Leipzig, broadcasting center on the market, formerly Funkhaus Springerstrasse Gohlis Another important note at the end: This tour ends in Springerstrasse in the north of Leipzig, approx. 300 meters from a stop for tram lines 10, 11 and 16. Alternatively, it is possible to walk to Leipzig Zoo in around 10 minutes from there. I am happy to help you if you wish.
We'll meet right at the Leipzig MDR S-Bahn station, at the stairs to platform 1, I'm wearing a baseball cap that says: "I Love Leipzig"
