Native Freetours. Malaga Essential.

Duration: 2h
Languages: Spanish
Registered on May 28, 2018

We love sharing our knowledge of the city with visitors and tourists from all over the world. When we walk with travelers and we begin to tell all the stories and anecdotes that we find in each corner, it is very satisfying for us. We enjoy teaching our city to everyone and we also share experiences and learn things from each of the places on the planet as travelers end up telling us about their places of origin.

Tour description

Exit Plaza de la Marina where we will begin to describe the city of Malaga from its first settlements. We will pass by the statue of one of the most important figures in Malaga: Marqués de Larios and his family. Entering Calle Larios, we will go to the Plaza de la Constitución where we will find a series of curiosities in them. Malaga is one of the places where coffee can be drunk in a large number of ways and we will see the curiosities of the walk of chinitas and its famous coffee of that time. From there we will move to the Bishop's Square where we can see the Cathedral of Malaga and the Bishop's Palace. From one of the sides of the cathedral we will see the old mosque, the church of the tabernacle and how the beginnings of the construction of the cathedral were carried out. One of the curiosities of this cathedral is the peculiar name it has of the little man. From the cathedral we will move along Calle de San Agustín where we will pass by the Picasso museum, one of the leading figures of Malaga. From there we will move to the Church of Santiago the Apostle and the old city wall and we will access the Plaza de la Merced to see the obelisk and the statue of Pablo Picasso. From there we will go to the Roman theater and the entrance to the citadel, passing through calle de la alcazabilla where we will talk about Antonio Banderas and the Malaga film festival.
