ESSENTIAL, Historical and Monumental Madrid
We are a group of tourist guides, accredited in Venice and Madrid, with extensive experience in the city, both historically and culturally, as well as in leisure and gastronomy. We will be delighted if you visit Venice or Madrid with us.
In this Tour we are going to visit the most important and monumental part of Madrid, knowing its history through its beautiful monuments. We begin the tour at the Puerta de Alcalá from where we will visit the Barrio de los Borbones, recently named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, here we will find important buildings such as the Bank of Spain, the Cibeles Palace or the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Ferdinand; fountains such as La Cibeles and important avenues such as La Gran Vía. After a break to have a coffee and go to the bathroom, we will start with the Barrio de los Austrias, where we will find places as important as the Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace or the Mercado de San Miguel. The Tour will end in the most important square in Madrid: La Puerta del Sol.

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
