Hello travelers! I´m Su, a guru of Oaxaca😊 I´ve studied Modern languages and Interculturality so I decided to create this tour to bring everything I have learnt about languages, history and culture to this tour. I would love to show you my city so you can leave the comfort zone and get a less turistic prespective of Oaxaca and at the same time enjoy this beautiful city that is full of colors and life.
THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL TOUR!
If you want to know everything about this fantastic city you cannot miss this tour. I will take you to different places in the city from the hidden side to the most popular side of the city to make you experience the real Oaxaca like a local.
In this tour I take you to different places around the historic center, traditional and colourful neighborhoods.
For almost 2 hours and 30 minutes, we will be walking and talking about the culture, the traditions, the history, the gastronomy (the best places to eat, such as restaurants or street food places), music, art, museums, politics, social movements, education, lifestyle and mysteries about Oaxaca . And of course I can help you to get some good photos for Instagram! Oaxaca is the best place to take the best pictures and eat the best food!
And talking about food, we always can make an stop to try some delicious food, drink or Nieve (ice cream).

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE WALKING
*I recommend you to try to bring a cap or hat, the weather here is really warm.🧢
*Bring a bottle of water 🧋to keep you hydrated.
*In case of being a family with a baby, I recommend avoiding the use of a stroller because it can be difficult to walk through certain streets. This with the purpose of making it more comfortable for parents, but if there is no problem on their part and they want to use it, they should only take into account that certain streets are usually a little reduced for their use. Perhaps a baby carrier will be ideal.
I will be in the stone cross square with a DARK GREEN UMBRELLA 😊. It is easy to get there but if you get lost ask for the stone cross or the Xochimilco arches. Sometimes the location is wrong but if you walk a little more you will find the square.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
