We are Taly and Tere, two authorized tour guides of the city of Rome, both with years of experience conducting guided tours in the Vatican, Colosseum and different places in Rome. Terry is a guide and an archaeologist and is completely in love with her work, for her every stone in Rome has a soul. Taly is Italian-Brazilian but like many people in their twenties, adventure took hold of her and she has spent a lot of time traveling the world, living for many years in Spain, in the end she ended up in Rome, a city frozen in time and that it is impossible not to fall in love, and therefore studied in Italy to become a tourist guide. For us, culture is for all people, which is why we have decided to share our knowledge about the eternal city, doing a dynamic and exciting free tour. We can guarantee that you will learn and enjoy history, so join our tour and return home an unforgettable memory of Rome, without forgetting that “All roads lead to Rome”.
Welcome to “ROMA IMPERIAL”, the only free walking tour of Rome that takes place INSIDE THE COLOSSEUM AND THE ROMAN FORUM.
We'll start by entering the Colosseum, the largest amphitheater in the Roman world, where we'll talk about its construction, gladiator fights and many other surprises.
We will climb to the PALATINO (from where you can admire the city of Rome from the heights and take incredible photos) and finally we will enter the Roman Forum where we will get lost among the ruins of ancient Rome.
It's a true journey through history visiting the most ancient places in Rome. We will get to know more than 2,000 years of history, from the cradle of Rome, the time of the famous Julius Caesar, the time of Nero, the beginnings of Christianity to the fall of the Roman Empire.
Important information for the traveller:
- Entry to the Colosseum not included in the price. Cost €18 per person.
