La Coruña La Vieja The birth of the Herculean city!

Discover with me the area where the Herculean city was born and its curiosities! The route will have the shape of a spiral and will begin at the Church of San Jorge , a few meters from the famous Plaza de María Pita . We will visit the museum-houses of this famous heroine from Coruña and other famous writers such as Rosalía de Castro or Emilia Pardo Bazán , some religious buildings present in the area ( Church of Santiago, Church of Las Bárbaras or the Collegiate Church of Santa María del Campo ), the old Jewish quarter or the gardens of San Carlos , where legend has it that the ghost of the late Sir John Moore's lover roams the area every anniversary of his death.

Attention!!! On Tuesday, January 25 and Wednesday, January 26, we do not make visits for health reasons.

At the end of the visit we will make a draw for 3 postcards.

It is mandatory to come with a mask.
From November to March, the possibility of making a visit without a 4-HOUR PREVIOUS RESERVATION is not guaranteed.
The maximum number of people per visit is 20, in accordance with the restrictions of the Xunta de Galicia in relation to COVID-19.
If the weather conditions do not allow it, the visit will be suspended. You would be notified 30 minutes in advance.
A minimum number of 5 attendees is required to carry out the visit.
