Discover the splendor of the historic center of Lima

Our free tour begins in the Plaza Mayor of Lima, a very emblematic square since Francisco Pizarro founded Lima, the current capital of Peru, in this place ; Here we can appreciate the cathedral with its beautiful viceregal architecture, the archiepiscopal palace, the government palace and the municipality of Lima. We will visit the beautiful Casa Aliaga , a house from the viceregal period , unique in its kind , occupied continuously since its construction in the 16th century until the present. We will appreciate the convent of San Francisco , this monastery constitutes a jewel of great artistic value in Lima, being famous for its catacombs. We will walk through the main streets of the historic center admiring the Torre Tagle palace and its beautiful balcony, the beautiful mansions, churches and buildings considered part of the cultural heritage of humanity. We will end our tour in Plaza San Martín , a historic square, whose name is due to the general architect of the Independence of Peru, Don José de San Martín.
