Hi!!! I am Vanesa, I am Argentina, an architect and qualified tourist companion, I have lived in Rome for 12 years. I love every corner of this city and I would love to show you Rome with every secret and every corner! Rome is a fantastic city where you never get tired of discovering it !!
This fascinating tour will take you through the centuries, exploring the most notable corners of the Eternal City. We will begin in the majestic Piazza Venezia , where the imposing Victor Emmanuel II Monument stands as a symbol of Italian unification.
Next, we'll head to Campidoglio , the Capitoline hill, designed by Michelangelo , and enjoy panoramic views of ancient Rome. From there, we will walk to the Theater of Marcellus , an ancient amphitheater that evokes the greatness of Roman civilization.
Our next destination is the Jewish Quarter , also known as the Roman Ghetto . This historic corner is home to the Great Synagogue of Rome , an impressive building where the Jewish community still performs its prayers. We will explore the narrow streets, discovering the rich history and traditions of this community.
We will continue crossing the Tiber River towards Tiber Island , an islet with a fascinating legend that tells how Rome was saved from the plague. Here, we will enjoy the views of the old bridges and relax by the river.
Finally, we will culminate our tour in the picturesque neighborhood of Trastevere . Its cobbled streets, charming squares and the impressive Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere will transport us to the authentic Rome. An unforgettable experience that combines history, culture and beauty!
Remember to wear comfortable shoes and a camera to capture every moment of this trip through time. Welcome to the eternal city of Rome! 🌟
Piazza San Marco, next to Piazza Venezia I'm going to have a colored umbrella
