This tour focuses on the most eccentric characters in Denmark's history including; an influential but war hungry king, treasonous noble men, famed philosopher and scientists set in the historic latin quarter of Copenhagen.
We’ll finish just in time for lunch at Torvehallerne, one of the best lunch spots in town.
We meet at the Statue of Bishop Absalon at Hojbro Plads. We are the smiliest guides with the green name tags and bright green umbrella.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the tour begins, to ensure that the tour can start on time.

We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it. Fran, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and was also very helpful after the conclusion of the tour as we picked his brain about other areas of the city we were considering visiting. My youngest daughter is interested in ceramics, and he was even able to put us in touch with someone locally who works in that field.
In addition to the history we learned about the city, our family particularly appreciated the emphasis Fran put on sharing details about many of the sustainability efforts of the city/country, as this is a philosophy that's important to us and we enjoyed learning more about how another government/culture approaches it.

Had a fantastic tour with Francisco (Fran) through the Latin section of the city. He gave an excellent blend of history and modern day developments. Wished I had more time to join some of his other tours.
