Tour description

A tour particularly recommended for those interested in learning more about the history of the Vatican and its two-thousand-year relationship with Rome!
Why is St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican? When was it built? Why is the Vatican called this? What is the "Passetto"? The tour will allow you to answer these and many other questions, guiding you on an itinerary rich in charm and history.
Through an in-depth overview from the outside we will examine

  • Castel Sant'Angelo (start of the tour)
  • Conciliation Street
  • Borgo Passage
  • Vatican Walls
  • St. Peter's Square (end of tour)

At the end, on their own, participants will be able to visit the interior of St. Peter's Basilica and, if they wish, go to the Vatican Museums, the entrance of which is not far from the square.
So do not hesitate to discover together the Vatican, the beating heart of the Church of Rome, its history and its treasures!
