Come with me to discover the wonderful Capodimonte park, where Charles III of Bourbon had his country residence built in 1735, to enjoy the clean air and go hunting. The park is 1.24 square km is the city park, on an area of 124 hectares there is the park museum, the views of the gulf of Posillipo, San Martino and Vesuvius. From this summer the church of San Gennaro was restored, built in 700 for the workers of the real Capodimonte porcelain factory opposite, currently an art school. Recently renovated by the great Spanish architect Santiago di Calatrava, famous all over the world. What are you waiting for, join me in the woods, perhaps to have a picnic in the open air, visiting the splendid avenues full of statues, oaks and birds.
To get to the park just take the 3M BUS, 168, 178 of the Neapolitan company ANM for the small door.
