Enjoy your Istanbul tour with an English-speaking local guide. Your guide will show you the famous visited spots and tell you about their history. You will start your tour walking through the Hippodrome, where once spectators gathered for the chariot-races. Then we pay a visit to the famous Blue Mosque famous for its 6 minarets and the tiles inside. After visiting the Blue Mosque, we will continue our tour with a visit to Hagia Sophia that consists of both Christian and Islamic elements. Visiting Hagia Sophia, we will head to Grand Bazaar walking on the Divanyolu street which was originally mapped by Constantine the Great. Wandering through the backstreets of Grand Bazaar, you will see the goods sold there and hear about the bargaining culture from your tour leader.
Your tour guide will be waiting for you in front of the German Fountain, which is on the Sultanahmet (Hippodrome) square. Your tour guide will have a tote bag with a big sign of 'SGA TRAVEL' to be recognized.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
