Walking Warsaw is a young company founded in Warsaw in 2017. The idea came from Antoni, who has been a licensed city guide since 2013. What was initially just a sideline developed into a profession and later to a vocation. Over time, not only the experience grew, but also the company itself. A local website was created with the accumulated insider knowledge and experience. Over time, other city guides joined this project. Today, the group offers specially created Free Tours and also private city tours. Walking Warsaw's mission was clear from the beginning: to give guests from all over the world a sense of belonging. The guests should feel at home. To achieve this, it is necessary to reform the old tourism school a little. The result is Tour Guiding 2.0. Dates, names of great personalities and architectural styles should not disappear, but be explained in a tourist-friendly way. The main focus, however, is on the narrative about city life and its inhabitants. It is important to us that something stays in the mind and that the guest, after arriving back home, continues to discover Warsaw, even from a distance. Ideally, he will come back and set off with us again, then to lesser-known corners of the city. If you want to meet Antoni and other like-minded guides in person, don't hesitate to choose one of our Free Tours. You'll recognise us by our orange umbrellas :)
